Why choose a Salvaged Car?

perspective car buyers. Just saying the word may bring up thoughts of damaged
cars quickly patched up and held together with a fast coat of paint!
Bailey Motors understands your concern; however here are a

Salvaged doesn’t mean destroyed, normally all of the damage is centered around
one area, with very low mileage cars, the rest of the car is often in excellent
condition.

all damaged parts. Our mechanics pay close attention to every detail to be sure

Things to look for when deciding to choose a salvaged car.
1)
How long has the company been in business, do they have a good
reputation? Will they stand behind their work if there is a problem? If in
doubt, ask if you can have the car checked by another mechanic or body shop. If
they are reluctant, Beware!
2)
Some shops will claim a car has not been in an accident, that
it is a Theft-Recovery car. There is not that many of these cars available, if
they make this claim, check it out before you buy the car. If they are willing
to deceive you about the cars origin there will likely be other issues.
3)
Look for any indications that the car has been in a flood.
Flood cars frequently have troubles down the line in their electronics, wiring
and other areas.
4)
Color match; inspect the car to be sure that the paint of the
damaged area has been properly matched.
5)
Panel alignment; be sure the new parts are properly aligned.
6)
The airbag light should function. As you turn the key, the
airbag and instrument lights should momentarily come on then shut off. This
test ensures that all of the electronics are properly functioning and have not
been bypassed.
7)
Ask for a printout from a reliable alignment shop.

enjoyable car buying experience and to provide you with a car that you can
